Your home for complete control.
We're not tied to one manufacturer. We work across a wide range of wired and wireless control platforms, including those below, and recommend the one that suits your building. Then we design, supply and commission it with the lighting.
Wired Robust, addressable networks
Best for new build and major refurbishment, where control cabling can go in with the installation.
Wireless Fast, low-disruption upgrades
Best for retrofit and occupied buildings: no control cabling, and easy to reconfigure as the space changes.

Designed in 3D. Proven before it's built.
When a standard fitting won't do, we can engineer one that will. Bespoke projects start with a clear brief and an agreed budget. Once the design is approved, we develop it in SolidWorks so fit, gear and controls are resolved before anything is made.
Your space and requirements
We agree the brief, usually including samples and the controls strategy.
Budget price and approval
A budget price for you to approve before detailed design starts.
3D engineering
The luminaire or retrofit kit is modelled in SolidWorks, so fit, thermal path, gear and controls are resolved on screen.
Layouts and calculations
Lighting design in Relux, or DIALux where preferred, with payback figures. We don't overdesign.
BIM model, on request
Where the project calls for it, a BIM model with the concept overlaid, so the team can coordinate before site.
Got a bespoke project in mind?
Describe it in a short brief and add it to your spec pack, alongside any standard products and a control system. We'll come back with a budget price.
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
The greenest luminaire is often the one already on your ceiling. Our retrofit solutions upgrade existing fittings to efficient, controllable LED, so you keep what still works instead of replacing it.
Reduce
Less new material, less waste to landfill and less disruption on site. Adding controls cuts energy further, with light only where and when it's needed.
Reuse
Existing housings, fixings and ceilings stay in place where they're sound. A retrofit kit, engineered in SolidWorks to suit the fitting, gives them a second life.
Recycle
Only the old gear and light source come out, and they go to the right recycling stream rather than the whole luminaire going in a skip. Neotec is a member of the Recolight WEEE compliance scheme.
Lease to Light.
Spread the cost.
Upgrade to LED and controls with £0 upfront and fixed monthly payments, set against the energy you save from day one.

A portfolio built on premium components.
We have a great portfolio of products, using only premium lighting component brands. Our range includes solutions for industry, warehousing, education, office and healthcare.
The right control system, specified with the luminaire.
We supply, design and commission a wide range of control platforms alongside our luminaires. Featured here: CP Electronics and Tridonic sceneCOM evo for wired networks, and Silvair, Inventronics HubSense, Casambi, Mymesh and Signify MasterConnect for wireless. Pick a system to see what it does, where it fits and what to watch for.
Wired Data bus / DALI
Control cabling to every zone. Suits new build and major refurbishment, large multi-floor sites and projects that need BMS integration. CP Electronics uses DALI and its RAPID data bus; Tridonic sceneCOM evo is a DALI-2 controller in the distribution board.
Wireless Radio mesh
Control lives in the luminaire, so there's no control cabling to run. Suits retrofit, occupied buildings, heritage sites and spaces whose layout changes often. Silvair and HubSense use Bluetooth NLC, and Casambi uses Bluetooth mesh; Mymesh runs its own non-hierarchical mesh that works without the cloud; Signify MasterConnect uses Zigbee 3.0.
Many platforms, one supplier.

Your challenge.
Our solution.
A UK-based trusted partner who takes ownership of your lighting challenge. We make intelligent lighting simple, without hiding anything or overcomplicating the process.

From first sketch to specification, and on to commissioning.
Full system designs
LED luminaires, sensors, nodes, wireless lighting controls, internet gateways and remote monitoring.
Lighting design and calculations
Industrial, warehousing, office, education and healthcare schemes that balance function and comfort.
Payback calculations
Paybacks are often quicker than expected, largely because we don't overdesign or overprice the solution.
Detailed specifications
System designs, lighting calculations and luminaire specifications for major projects.
Bespoke luminaire design
Custom luminaires designed in-house in SolidWorks. We work from your brief and samples to a budget price, then lighting design in Relux and a BIM model on request.
Controls commissioning
Our own engineers commission every control platform on this site in-house, as well as other DALI systems such as Helvar: grouping, scenes, presence and daylight settings, and emergency testing. Every handover includes documentation and user training.
Lease to Light.
Spread the cost.
Lease your LED lighting and controls upgrade with fixed monthly payments instead of a large upfront cost. We put the lease cost next to the projected energy saving in your payback calculation, so you can compare the two before you commit.
Survey and design
We survey the site and design the lighting and controls, without over-specifying.
Payback and lease quote
One proposal shows the energy saving, the payback and the fixed monthly cost of the lease.
Install and commission
We supply the scheme and commission the controls. Savings start from the day the new lighting goes live.
Fixed monthly payments
You pay a fixed amount over the agreed term. What happens at the end depends on the agreement.
How one customer leased a high bay and linear LED upgrade over 3 years
3-year or 5-year? The options this customer was offered
| 3-year lease Chosen | 5-year lease | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly repayment | £1,768.94 | £1,150.38 |
| Net saving during the lease | +£898.29 / month | +£1,516.85 / month |
| Full £2,667.23 saving from | Year 4 | Year 6 |
| 10-year savings with the lease | £254,617.02 | £249,894.62 |
The shorter term means higher payments for 3 years but a bigger saving over 10 years. The longer term leaves more cash each month while the lease runs. Both start saving from day one. For comparison, buying the same scheme outright would have saved £255,275.66 over 10 years.
What the lease covered
- Series 450 high bays: 192 standard output and 33 high output (225 luminaires)
- Series 120 IP66 linear battens: 50 general and 64 task lighting (114 luminaires)
- Installation to the agreed install document, plus controls commissioning
Monthly lease figures exclude VAT and are subject to a credit check. Final figures are agreed directly with the finance provider. The lease covers the listed products and installation only; anything outside that scope is charged separately. Energy savings are the projected figures for this customer's site, based on 3,120 operating hours a year at 15.4p per kWh. Yours will depend on your site, tariff and operating hours, and we'll calculate them for your project.
Why lease
- +No large upfront spend, so cash and credit lines stay free for other projects.
- +Fixed payments make budgeting simple across the term.
- +The energy saving starts as soon as the LEDs are installed, rather than after a capital budget is approved.
- +Can cover the whole scheme: luminaires, controls, installation and commissioning.
What to weigh up
- −Total cost over the term is higher than paying outright, because finance has a cost.
- −Leases are subject to credit approval and the finance provider's terms.
- −Energy savings depend on use, tariffs and hours of operation, so they can vary from the projection.
- −Tax and accounting treatment depends on your business. Check it with your accountant.
Common questions
- Who provides the finance?
- Leases are arranged through One.funding or other specialist finance providers. Neotec designs and supplies the scheme and acts only as an introducer; the finance provider offers the lease and purchase options and provides the agreement.
- What can be included?
- Typically the luminaires, the lighting controls, installation and commissioning. Bespoke luminaires may also be included; we'll confirm this at quote stage.
- How long is the term?
- Terms vary by agreement. We'll show you the options alongside the payback, so you can choose the one that suits your cash flow.
- Do I own the lighting at the end?
- It depends on the type of agreement. Some end with ownership; others offer an option to purchase or to extend. We'll explain the options before you sign.

Sustainable lighting solutions don't have to cost the earth.
We design solutions that avoid later value engineering or specification changes. We've completed thousands of projects, working closely with M&E consultants, energy consultants and electrical contractors.
Neotec products are supplied in line with UK WEEE regulations and designed to comply with RoHS.
As a producer placing electrical and electronic equipment on the UK market, Neo Technologies Ltd is responsible for the collection and recycling of that equipment when it reaches the end of its life. We meet this responsibility as a member of Recolight, the WEEE compliance scheme that specialises in lighting. Recolight handles the collection, treatment and recycling of waste lighting on our behalf, so it's dealt with efficiently and in an environmentally responsible way.
Our products are designed to comply with the RoHS Regulations, which restrict hazardous substances in electrical equipment and so reduce the amount of hazardous waste entering the environment. Whether RoHS applies to a particular product depends on its function and on whether it falls within the scope of the legislation. Ask us if you need confirmation for a specific product.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013
Under the UK WEEE Regulations, Neo Technologies Ltd's producer responsibilities are discharged on its behalf by Recolight. Our WEEE registration number is WEE/MM0235AA.
Every Neotec product label carries the CE and UKCA marks and the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. The bin symbol means the product shouldn't go in general waste: take it to a WEEE collection point. On Neotec projects, we can arrange the removal for you.
Part of our circular approach
Our retrofit solutions keep sound housings, fixings and ceilings in service. Only the old gear and light source come out, and they go to the correct WEEE recycling stream rather than the whole luminaire going in a skip.
Replacing old lighting?
We're happy to arrange the removal of WEEE on any of our projects, so old luminaires, gear and lamps go to the right recycling stream. Recolight also provides collection points and collection services for waste lighting across the UK: recolight.co.uk.
